Idaho Falls Fiber Celebrates 10,0000th Customer

IDAHO FALLS – Idaho Falls Fiber is proud to announce a new milestone in the growth of the community’s high-speed broadband network, as it welcomes its 10,000th connected customer to the city-owned fiber optic system.

The milestone was recently reached and celebrated as Idaho Falls Fiber representatives visited the home of Nolan & Valerie Jensen to commemorate their connection to the network and present the Jensens with a congratulatory gift basket. 

Since its launch in 2019, Idaho Falls Fiber has expanded rapidly, bringing dedicated high-speed fiber internet access to thousands of local households and businesses. Today, well more than one-third of all residents in Idaho Falls have chosen to connect to the community-owned network, and the city is quickly approaching the halfway mark.

“Reaching 10,000 connected customers is a tremendous achievement and a testament to the value this network delivers,” said Christopher Jensen, Community Relations Coordinator at Idaho Falls Power & Fiber. “Residents love that we are local, reliable, and that our network is built BY the community FOR the community, not corporate profits.
